Plan
“Crazy 62 year old rides old motorcycle all over the USA.”
We hope that this got your attention, because we need your help… Yes, that crazy guy, Guenther Hofen, will be traveling across this wonderful country to publicize and raise money to restore Hurting Pastors.
Starting in Sacramento, CA at Guenther’s home church, Arcade Church, the route will cover 6,627 miles through 18 states with the halfway stop being the Second National Pastors Prayer Summit, which is at Liberty University. What makes the trip’s route so special is the fact that it will touch every church that Daniel Henderson, the President and Founder of SRI, has ministered in since graduating from Liberty University 25 years ago.
Major Points of the Route
- Arcade Church – Sacramento, California: Daniel’s longest tenure to date... 11 years as senior pastor.
- Multnomah College – Portland, Oregon: Home of SRI’s partner ministry IRM and the location of the 2007 National Pastor’s Prayer Summit.
- Cornerstone Community Baptist Church – Kent Washington: The first church that Daniel and
others planted. - Grace Church – Eden Prairie, Minnesota: Daniel’s most recent full time pastorate.
- Liberty University & Seminary – Lynchburg, Virginia: Currently Daniel is Assistant Professor of Renewal and Church Leadership.
Thomas Road Baptist Church - Lynchuurg, Virginia: Where Daniel is Pastor of Renewal. - Sherman Bible Church – Sherman, Texas: Daniel’s brother, Dennis Henderson is the Senior Pastor. Also a Partner with SRI and the home of the “Monday Morning” ministry.
- Grace Community Church – Sun Valley, California: John MacArthur, Senior Pastor, Daniel’s friend and mentor. Daniel served as Associate Pastor to Pastor John.
- Los Gatos Christian Church – Los Gatos, California: Daniel’s first large, full time Senior Pastorate position… A place of growth.
- Arcade Church – Back home where the vision for this road trip began.
